What a lovely looking place. Many rooms, of decent motel size. Ample parking. Fantastic grounds and surrounding area. Beautiful looking main buildings.Restaurant and conference/function centre.Seems an ideal place for a wedding, conference, retreat, or just a peaceful getaway.
Very disappointed in the customer service and one of the staff members was quite rude throughout our whole stay to myself and my guests. I had a wedding in the area and chose this place to get ready the morning of and my guests booked the whole motel out as well. I asked the manager for some consideration as we needed to take pre-wedding pictures but he refused any ideas and was very reluctant to help. He was then very rude to our guests before and after the wedding. As anyone would appreciate to hear this bad experience from 80% of my guests this is concerning especially since we booked out the motel for the weekend I would expect better service. The change in owners of the motel is definitely a down point.
This is our second visit. Very pretty location. Rooms are comfortable, but a little dated. Staff are friendly.
I recently stayed here for my high school reunion. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. Many thanks to Jenny, her head chef and team for making our Sunday morning breakfast for all in the private function room a great start to the day. Again the food and service was of and excellent standard. Many thanks Jenny
Great grounds......spacious rooms.......however, filthy window sills and curtains need a decent wash....thick dust on top of mirrored wardrobe.......bathroom spacious but needs an upgrade.....looks very tired and over used.......there is a toaster in the room however no small plates to put your toast on......at least not in our room. Could stay there again......maybe......hoping this feedback is taken on board.
