This is a spacious, tree-studded reserve by the Old Hume Highway. It offers no equipment or facilities of any kind, not even a bench or a garbage bin. Red Bank Reserve is administered by the municipality, which displays a sign forbidding this and that under threat of condign punishment of up to four penalty units. So no archery, jousting, niblick shots, landing helicopters, or picking flowers. Okay?But you could stop here for a restful cup of something, if you bring it with you. And your own rug or folding chairs.( A penalty unit, in case you were wondering too, is at present worth $161.16. )
